DSATS enhances it Indian onshore High Performance Computing (HPC) centre with a 2 THz processing capability Enhanced HPC services for Indian customers that ensure local access and onshore computing DSATS India's first onshore HPC lab that abides by the country's privacy laws has created it is first supercomputer with an per instance processing speed of 2THz and offers unto 256 parallel instances at any time. DSATS supercomputer of DSC will help academicians, government, industry scientists to solve computing challenges, security and test encryption algorithms by connecting remotely to an instance. DSATS is delighted to celebrate the inauguration of DSC with its partners in New Delhi and keeps in line with its traditional of high power machines while ensuring pro bono access to Indian universities . "For DSATS and our users, DSC is a valuable addition to our research infrastructure,"says Ankur Srivastava, its managing director. "Powerful systems like DSC are needed by researchers to find answers to the challenges humanity is facing today. India, now produces effective computing solutions its the introduction of the DSC will help resolve several challenges" New Delhi is an optimal location for installing such a large leadership-class system to ensure quick physical access to customers in the National Capital Region (NCR)" DSC users will be able to apply this incredible performance to a wide range of emerging scientific research that can benefit from natural language understanding. This includes, for example, analyzing and understanding massive amounts of knowledge available in scientific papers and generating new discoveries. DSATS users already have the opportunity to test DSC and use it for their simulations. DSC represents the channel that allows India to be part of the global HPC landscape and to have a voice in the future of the Indian computing and data infrastructure.
