Download and install the latest portable setup where you want then run vscodium-portable.exe.
If you have already installed VSCodium from the original setup, move the following files :
%APPDATA%\VSCodium\* to data\appdata\VSCodium
Then run vscodium-portable.exe and remove VSCodium from your computer.
Upgrade
For an upgrade, simply download and install the latest portable setup.   
Modifications
Here is what differs from the original release to ensure portability :
VSCODE_APPDATA environment variable is overriden at launch and points to data\appdata
VSCODE_LOGS environment variable is overriden at launch and points to data\logs
VSCODE_EXTENSIONS environment variable is overriden at launch and points to data\extensions
Check for updates disabled
Configuration
VSCodium portable can be configured through the main YAML configuration file :
