Stellar Repair for MS SQL 10.0.0.0 |
Repair corrupted SQL database files and recover all database objects
Stellar Repair for MS SQL can repair large and severely corrupted database (MDF and NDF) files. The software provides two scan modes, Standard Scan and Advanced Scan, to scan and repair the affected files. It recovers all the database objects from the corrupted files, including deleted records, and previews the repaired database objects in a tree-like structure. The left pane of the preview window shows tables, views, synonyms, data types, etc. The right pane displays the contents of an object selected in the left pane, and a message log is shown in the bottom pane of the preview window. It is a useful feature that helps validate the accuracy of the repaired data before saving it. After previewing and selecting the data to be restored, the software provides options to save the repaired database in New Database, Live Database, or Other Formats (like CSV, HTML, or XLS). The software then requires the user to connect to SQL Server using Windows authentication or SQL Server authentication to save the repaired database. A user already logged onto a system can use the Windows authentication method to avoid logging separately to a SQL Server instance. Further, the user can choose the file saving modes for saving the repaired database. Fast Saving mode is advisable for users with large databases, as it performs a fast database repair process by saving the data first and then indexes. Standard Saving is the recommended saving mode that saves the data and indexes at the same time. The software automatically generates a log report of the SQL Server database, allowing the user to analyze the DB repair process later. The user can view the log of the repair process at the bottom of the software user interface.
