Quinnect is a remote support solution for quick and secure access to remote computers over the Internet. You can use Quinnect both for ad hoc remote customer support and for administering remote workstations and servers on a 24/7 schedule. Quinnect consists of the following modules: Viewer, Agent, Host (optional) and Quinnect Server (optional). The program allows firewalls and NAT services to be bypassed. The only thing you need to know to connect to the remote PC is its ID and access password. Viewer The Viewer is an application used by the helpdesk technician to conduct a remote support session. The Viewer allows storing and managing the list of remote computers and connecting to any of them in one of the 15 different connection modes. Remote Agent The Agent is a lightweight module that does not require installation or administrative rights on the remote PC. A remote customer simply downloads and runs the Agent and tells the helpdesk technician the ID and password displayed in the Agent window. The technician can then connect to the customer's PC using that ID and password. The Agent can be customized with your logo and welcome text. You can send your customers a link to download the customized Agent from your website. Another configuration option is to make the Agent send connection credentials to you automatically via e-mail once the remote customer runs the Agent. Remote Host The Host requires installation and can be used both for attended and unattended access to the remote PC. Since it runs as a service, the user's presence is not necessary. You can perform any action on the remote PC provided that the PC is turned on and connected to the Internet. Quinnect Server Quinnect Server (QS) is free self-hosted server software that replicates the functionality of our global firewall bypass servers. You can install the server on your premises and route all connections through it rather than through our global servers.
