This tool is very easy to use. Simply load your CSV file into the mapper, choose your QIF mapping fields via the "Map" button, and output your QIF file. Once the QIF file is created, you can load it directly into your Quicken financial software. This is a new version of the QuiConvert Tool. This new version, which is design to convert files from Csv to Qif format, includes many new enhancements over the prior versions. One of the new changes in the CP version is the conversion to the new "Credit" QIF format. This new CP version includes an updated user-interface style, with larger buttons and new icons. The older pop-up progress-bar is now replaced with a new embedded progress-bar, which is located at the bottom of the window. Other changes include application messages which automatically time-out and clear from the main-window. Another welcome change in the CP version is the new Options window. The Options window in the new CP version now captures character-by-character changes when updating the file or folder sections. Also, the Options window now includes "Default" resets, allowing the user to reset to original factory settings. This new CP version includes additional logs for the QIF output operation. This new log tracks errors which could occur during export operations. Errors, like the long-date format exception, will be tracked and logged to this log file. The user is then notified of the current errors via the blinking red ThumbTac, located at the bottom left-hand side of the QuiConvert window.
