This module enables the upload and insertion of encrypted CopySafe Video files into Drupal posts and pages from the Drupal page editor. Without this module adding HTML to activate a browser plugin would be an arduous task, even for experienced web developers. But that task has been greatly simplified.
Simply upload the protected video file that was created by the CopySafe Video Encoder, nominate the protection settings to use, then copy'n'paste the generated shortcode to where you want the video to appear. Your protection settings can be modified at any time by simply editing the shortcode in HTML view.
After uploading or selecting an existing video class file (from a previous upload), you can then nominate the security settings to use for the page or post. Different pages can use different security and display settings.
CopySafe Video provides the most secure video protection on the planet. Copy protected videos are safe from all copy and with DRM applied they can be protected from sharing and unauthorized distribution.
CopySafe Video can be distributed by email, download and on disk for desktop viewing which can be the most secure deliverable when DRM is applied. Or they can be displayed on web pages without DRM except for password protection managed by CMS membership. Consequently, desktop reading is the preferred option employed by most authors because with DRM applied they have total control over all aspects with immediate effect on any changes made. For example if a subscriber defaults on payment, their subscription can be suspended to restrict their access, even to videos already downloaded and saved to the user's computer.
